Nuku-Hiva

With an area of 330 km2, Nuku Hiva is the second largest island in French Polynesia after Tahiti. Considered to be the epitome of what all the Marquesas Islands have to offer, it is made up of cliffs plunging into the ocean, mystical archaeological sites, white sand beaches and breathtaking waterfalls. The Vaipo waterfall is the highest in Polynesia, measuring 350 meters!
